Grizzlies play host to visiting Suns

(Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The red-hot Memphis Grizzlies hope to continue to dominate
on their home floor this afternoon when they welcome the Phoenix Suns to FedEx
Forum.
The Grizzlies improved to 3-0 on a four-game homestand and extended their
franchise-record home winning streak to eight on Saturday when Zach Randolph
made five big free throws in the final minute, helping Memphis thwart San
Antonio's comeback bid to earn a 92-86 victory.
Randolph ended with 23 points and 15 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who snapped a
five-game losing streak to the Spurs. O.J. Mayo chipped in 19 points and eight
boards, and Marc Gasol added 14 and nine in the impressive victory.
"We are maturing. We are getting better, but we can get a lot better," Gasol
said. "We were up 14 and they almost came back and won the game. We'll keep
working at it."
With an impressive 14-5 mark in Memphis, the Grizzlies have already matched
their home win total from the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons, and are just two
wins away from last season's win total at FedEx Forum.
The Suns, meanwhile, have won just once on the road since the end of November
and fell to 0-3 on a four-game trek in Charlotte on Saturday after Gerald
Wallace poured in 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Bobcats destroyed
Phoenix, 125-99.
Amare Stoudemire ended with 19 points and seven rebounds for the Suns, who are
now just 9-13 away from the desert. Leandro Barbosa chipped in 17 points off
the bench and Robin Lopez finished with 14 points in defeat.
"We were never in the game. They scored at will and basically just did
everything they wanted to do. I thought that after a game like last night we
would have a little carry-over but it didn't happen," Suns head coach Alvin
Gentry said.
Phoenix has dominated this series recently, winning 12 of its last 14 meetings
with Memphis.

MySportsbook.com refunds all bets on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay from NFL week one.
(September 14) – Week one of NFL action saw three teams go scoreless for the first time since 1977. Another four were unable to get a touchdown and almost half of the underdogs covered the spread. Those three teams saved bettors at MySportsbook.com from losing out completely, thanks to the company’s unique NFL Shutout Rule -- which ensures that if the team you backed goes scoreless, your wager is refunded.
Sportsbook refunded tens of thousands of dollars to customers who bet on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay, the three teams that stunk up the field so badly that their fans and backers never had a chance to get up from their couches and cheer. In the spirit of the low scoring start to the season, odds makers at the world’s largest online sportsbook and casino have set odds on how many total shutouts there will be this season.
MySportsbook.com has posted updated sports betting lines for week two of the season. Ben Roethlisberger’s health status is still questionable, so Willie Parker will try to lead Pittsburgh again as they travel to Jacksonville as a one point favorite. After beating up on his little brother last week, Peyton Manning will look to lead the Colts to victory against Houston. Indianapolis is a whopping 13.5 favorite in the match-up.
Seattle, last year’s highest scoring team, showed the power of their defense with their gritty 9-6 win in Motown over the ravenous Lions. They take their act back home to the comforts of Qwest Field where they will face the resurgent Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks are favored by a touchdown.
